First Plug-in Hybrid Lamborghini Arriving in 2024

The legendary super sports car manufacturer is investing over $1.8 billion in developing and producing electrified vehicles.

The first plug-in hybrid Lambo is set to be announced in 2023 and will be available in the Middle East in 2024.

However, CEO Stephan Winkelmann made it clear that autonomous vehicles were not on the horizon for the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer.

Commitment to Sustainability

Lamborghini is committed to sustainability, with plans to electrify all three model lines (Aventador, Huracán, and Urus) by the end of 2024, reducing CO2 emissions by 50 percent from 2025 onwards.

Additionally, the marque plans to launch a fully electric car in the second half of the decade, designed for daily usability and carving out a unique market segment.

Balancing Tradition and Innovation

While pursuing sustainability, the supercar builder faces the challenge of maintaining its unique DNA.

The brand aims to reinvent itself while staying true to its core values, ensuring that all future super sports cars deliver an uncompromising driving experience.

Record-Breaking Sales and Growth

The marque reported record half-year sales and profits, with its entire production line pre-sold for the next 18 months. The company delivered 9,233 cars worldwide in 2022, a 10% increase over the previous year.

The car manufacturer’s positive growth trends remain strong, even in the face of economic challenges.

A Look to the Future

Lamborghini is preparing to launch two new models this year and two more next year as part of its four-year plan. The company is committed to controlled growth to protect its brand’s exclusivity while meeting increasing demand.

The journey into sustainability will accelerate in 2023 with the production of hybrid cars and a significant investment in the transition to fully electric vehicles.

World’s Largest Dealership in Dubai

The UAE, particularly Dubai, has emerged as a key market for Lamborghini. The city is home to the world’s largest dedicated Lamborghini dealership. The brand’s success in the UAE is attributed to personalization, premium customer service, and strong online brand representation.

Luxury Yacht Inspired by Lamborghini

Lamborghini is expanding its luxury offerings with the “Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63” yacht, priced at approximately $3.5 million. This 63-foot boat, inspired by Lamborghini’s Sian FKP 37 sports car, offers high-speed performance, customization options, and a unique Lamborghini-style interior.

Lamborghini Dubai & Abu Dhabi has been appointed as the official distributor of the Tecnomar for the Lamborghini 63 yacht in the GCC region. This luxury yacht represents the company’s commitment to providing a complete luxury experience on both land and sea.

Despite global economic uncertainty, the supercar’s demand remains strong, with its entire production pre-sold until early 2024.
